1. About Reggie English

Reggie English provides English-language education, TOEFL preparation, tutoring, self-guided courses, digital learning tools, and related educational resources.

Our services may include:

  • Self-guided courses

  • TOEFL preparation materials

  • Practice exercises and quizzes

  • Speaking and writing practice

  • AI-assisted educational feedback

  • Tutoring and coaching

  • Digital downloads and resources

  • Memberships or other educational services

Some features may be provided through third-party technology platforms.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement to use or purchase our services.

If you are under the age required to enter into a binding agreement in your location, you may use our services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating an account or making a purchase.

3. Accounts

Certain Reggie English services, including the TOEFL Self-Guided Course, require an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Keeping your email address current

  • Preventing unauthorized access to your account

You may not share your account credentials with another person or allow another person to use a course or service purchased for your individual use unless we expressly permit it.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

4. Google Sign-In

Certain services may allow you to sign in using your Google account.

By choosing Google Sign-In, you authorize us and our authentication providers to use the account information necessary to create, identify, and authenticate your Reggie English account.

Your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s applicable terms and policies.

You may also have the option to access Reggie English services through other authentication methods where available.

5. Purchases and Payments

Prices for courses, tutoring, memberships, and other services are displayed before purchase.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method you provide for the amount displayed at checkout.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

We may refuse, cancel, or review a transaction where we reasonably suspect:

  • Fraud

  • Unauthorized payment activity

  • Abuse of promotional offers

  • Duplicate transactions

  • A violation of these Terms

Prices may change from time to time. A price change will not retroactively change the amount you already paid for a completed purchase.

6. TOEFL Self-Guided Course

The TOEFL Self-Guided Course is a self-paced digital educational product.

Depending on the current version of the course, it may include:

  • Reading practice

  • Listening practice

  • Speaking practice

  • Writing practice

  • Video lessons

  • Quizzes

  • Mock examinations

  • Study-planning tools

  • Progress features

  • AI-assisted feedback

  • Speech or pronunciation tools

  • Other educational resources

Course content and features may be updated, reorganized, improved, replaced, or removed over time.

We may make reasonable changes to the course in order to improve accuracy, usability, security, or educational value.

7. Lifetime Access

Where a product is advertised as including lifetime access, this means access for the commercially reasonable lifetime of that product or service while Reggie English continues to operate and support it.

Lifetime access does not mean that:

  • A particular website, platform, feature, technology, or third-party service will remain unchanged forever

  • Every feature available at the time of purchase will exist indefinitely

  • Reggie English must maintain a particular hosting provider, software provider, or technical format permanently

We may migrate, modify, replace, or discontinue individual features while continuing to provide substantially similar access to the purchased educational product.

Lifetime access is personal to the purchaser and may not be transferred or resold unless we expressly authorize it.

8. Course Progress and Device Storage

Certain course progress may be stored locally in your browser or device rather than synchronized to a central account.

As a result:

  • Progress may differ between devices

  • Progress may not automatically transfer to a different browser

  • Clearing browser data may remove locally stored progress

  • Private browsing or browser settings may affect saved progress

We do not guarantee that locally stored progress can always be recovered.

9. Educational Purpose and No Score Guarantee

Reggie English provides educational tools designed to help users improve their English and test-preparation skills.

However, we do not guarantee:

  • A particular TOEFL score

  • Admission to a school or university

  • Employment

  • Immigration outcomes

  • Scholarship eligibility

  • Academic advancement

  • Any particular result from using our services

Results vary depending on factors including prior ability, practice, consistency, test-day performance, and individual circumstances.

You remain responsible for your own study decisions, test registration, application deadlines, and compliance with the requirements of schools, testing organizations, employers, or government agencies.

10. TOEFL and Third-Party Trademarks

Any third-party names, trademarks, test names, logos, or other intellectual property referenced in our educational materials belong to their respective owners.

Reggie English is an independent educational provider and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by ETS or any other testing organization unless expressly stated.

References to TOEFL or other examinations are used for educational and descriptive purposes.

11. AI, Speech, and Automated Feedback

Some Reggie English services may use artificial intelligence, speech recognition, transcription, automated scoring, pronunciation analysis, or related technologies.

These tools are intended to support learning and practice.

Automated feedback may:

  • Contain errors

  • Misinterpret audio or text

  • Produce incomplete suggestions

  • Differ from the judgment of a teacher, examiner, or official testing organization

AI-generated or automated feedback should therefore be treated as an educational aid rather than an official assessment.

You are responsible for deciding how to use the feedback you receive.

12. User-Submitted Content

Certain services may allow you to submit:

  • Written responses

  • Audio recordings

  • Speaking samples

  • Answers to exercises

  • Messages

  • Other learning content

You retain ownership of the original content you submit.

You grant Reggie English and our service providers a limited right to process that content as reasonably necessary to:

  • Deliver the requested educational service

  • Generate feedback

  • Transcribe or analyze responses

  • Provide technical support

  • Maintain service security

  • Improve the functionality of the service where permitted by applicable law

You should not submit content that you do not have the right to use.

You should also avoid including highly sensitive personal information in practice exercises unless necessary.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our website, course, or services.

You may not:

  • Share, resell, sublicense, or distribute your account access

  • Copy or redistribute course materials without permission

  • Download or reproduce substantial portions of a course for redistribution

  • Circumvent login, payment, or access-control systems

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account

  • Interfere with our servers, systems, or security measures

  • Use automated tools to scrape or mass-download content

  • Reverse engineer our services where prohibited

  • Use the services for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes

  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the educational materials provided through Reggie English are owned by or licensed to Reggie English.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Videos

  • Lessons

  • Explanations

  • Course organization

  • Study materials

  • Graphics

  • Written content

  • Quizzes

  • Practice activities

  • Templates

  • Digital tools

  • Branding

  • Website content

Purchasing a course gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the materials for your own educational purposes.

A purchase does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property to you.

15. Tutoring and Appointments

Separate rules may apply to tutoring, consultations, trial sessions, or other scheduled services.

You are responsible for attending appointments at the scheduled time and ensuring that your device and internet connection are suitable for an online session.

Cancellation, rescheduling, lateness, and refund rules may be communicated during booking or through a separate policy.

16. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy displayed on our website or presented at the time of purchase.

Certain digital products may have different refund conditions from live tutoring or other services.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Our services may rely on third-party platforms and providers, including services for:

These may include providers such as Wix, Netlify, Supabase, Stripe, Google, Anthropic, Deepgram, Microsoft, and others.

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, errors, or service interruptions caused solely by third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.

We may replace third-party providers when necessary.

18. Service Availability

We aim to keep our services available and functioning properly, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Services may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • Maintenance

  • Updates

  • Hosting outages

  • Internet disruptions

  • Third-party service failures

  • Technical problems

  • Events outside our reasonable control

We may modify or temporarily suspend services when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, or improvements.

Educational information provided by Reggie English is not legal, financial, immigration, medical, or other professional advice.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reggie English will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the services.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

24. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Your continued use of our services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Reggie English’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
